Jazz, Rock, Blues, R&B, Soul, Gospel, Big Band, Folk, Contemporary, Chamber

For twelve years and hundreds of performances, art & music promoter, Tony Falco, presented some of the most respected and creative artists working in music today, in what became a legendary private concert venue over the magnificent barn he’d built behind his home.

On November 27, 2009, The Falcon opened the doors to its new home, listening room and art gallery; a 19th century factory building perched over Marlboro Falls at 1348 Route 9W, Marlboro NY. Here it will continue to present the most well regarded musicians in traditional & contemporary jazz, blues, soul, folk, world, rock, big band & chamber music.

The Falcon welcomes everyone, with no cover charge, no minimum, no tickets. Those who can are encouraged to feed our donation box, a symbol of democracy in the arts. This fund goes directly to the performing musicians, demonstrating our respect & gratitude for their skill, contribution and livelihood.

"Quinn Sullivan may also be the most gifted guitar prodigy on the planet, a blues player of jaw dropping virtuosity and depth who could turn out to be the Clapton of his generation" - The Washington Post

"In A World Without You" (LIVE):

Quinn Sullivan's fourth album, Wide Awake, offers a veritable tasting menu of electric guitar tone but that's not what he wants you to notice. At least not at first. Songwriting is a little like being a chef. You want people to enjoy the meal. They can ask about the ingredients afterwards.

“You pick up a ’59 Les Paul and it just speaks differently to any other guitar you have ever played before – it is a beast of its own.“

A rare artist who has always sounded older than his years, Sullivan has been touring the world since he was an 11-year-old, playing storied venues such as Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Bowl and RFK Stadium in Washington D.C., as well as India’s Mahindra Blues Festival, Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, and three Montreux Jazz Festivals. Quinn has shared the stage with his hero and mentor Buddy Guy, as well as Carlos Santana on several occasions.

Quinn’s performance experience includes appearances on national broadcast television programs such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, and The Oprah Winfrey Show, to name a few.

Sullivan is fully aware of what it takes to pursue his passion...
“I love everything from the songwriting process to recording and especially touring around the world with my incredible bandmates. I’m fortunate to be able to see the world and meet new people everyday. This what I was born to do.”

The Dark Horses feature ~

Glenn John Arnowitz / Keyboards, Harmonica, Vocals
Paul Binotto / Bass, Vocals

Michael O’Brien / Guitar, Vocals
Pattie Gordon / Vocals

The Dark Horses, a powerhouse line-up of nine Orange County NY musicians, bring to life Harrison’s musical legacy from his Cavern Club days with the Beatles through his solo career, including collaborations with Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne, and The Traveling Wilburys.

The stories behind the music form a narrative connecting the music to a generation for which Harrison’s music was a soundtrack, while creating context for a newer musical generation. Less a nostalgic road trip than a musical timeline that we somehow continue to discover.

"Through the lean ropy sound of his Fender Telecaster, Mr. Campilongo connects American styles (Blues, Rock, Country, Jazz, R&B) in a sly knowing way."

"You've got the makings of a very twisted guitar hero who deserves worshipping. Clever, crafty, quirky and cool."

Dan Rieser / Drums -

When TONEQUEST MAGAZINE wrote “…another stellar Campilongo record from the fertile mind of Jim Campilongo. How does he do it? Damned if we know…” they were looking at an overview of Campilongo’s fourteen solo releases and commenting on tthe musics growth and diversity. The Jim Campilongo 4 Tet is another step in this evolution.

The 4 Tet is driven by long time Brooklyn collaborators Luca Benedetti (Ron Carter Steve Gadd), Andy Hess (John Scofield, Gov't Mule) and Dan Rieser (Rosanne Cash, Youn Sun Nah) who all bring their sound and style to create a unique distilled power. Their chemistry, focus and mutual admiration is apparent in making this musical unit sound like a joyous army.

With fourteen albums of original material and guest appearances on dozens of recordings -- from the Bammie-winner's contribution on Cake's million-selling Prolonging the Magic to (most recently) doing lead guitar duties with The Little Willies, his band with Norah Jones -- Campilongo has played with JJ Cale, Al Anderson, Gillian Welch/David Rawlings, Peter Rowan, Martha Wainwright, Bright Eyes, Teddy Thompson, and Burning Spear to name a few, has earned two Gold records, and has written music for national ads for National Grid, Volkswagen, SBC, Michelin and Jack Daniel's

"Campilongo is one of those New York secrets. A master of the electric guitar, he weaves in spaghetti western picks, blues chords and jazz refs into his haunting tunes, a combo of originals and covers."

"New York has no shortage of guitar heroes but few cover as many bases as Jim Campilongo reveals a range that extends from seductive country-swing to atmospheric jazz and well beyond."

“The Klezmatics aren’t just the best band in the klezmer vanguard; on a good night, they can rank among the greatest bands on the planet.”— Time Out New York

Since their emergence more than 30 years ago, the Klezmatics have raised the bar for Eastern European Jewish music, made aesthetically, politically and musically interesting recordings, inspired future generations, created a large body of work that is enduring, and helped to change the face of contemporary Yiddish culture. Often called a “Jewish roots band,” the Klezmatics have led a popular revival of this ages-old, nearly forgotten art form.

They have performed in more than 20 countries and released 11 albums to date—most recently the album Apikorsim (Heretics), produced by Danny Blume (who helped the band win a Grammy in 2006) and the first of the band’s albums to feature only the 6 members. On their Grammy-winning 2006 album Wonder Wheel, the Klezmatics set a dozen previously unsung Woody Guthrie lyrics to music, widening their stylistic base by largely diverging from klezmer. They have also recently served as the subject of a feature-length documentary film, The Klezmatics: On Holy Ground.

During their third-of-a-century existence the Klezmatics have collaborated with such brilliant artists as violinist Itzhak Perlman, Pulitzer prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner and Israeli vocal icon Chava Alberstein, plus many other prominent artists working within multiple genres.

The Klezmatics’ music is rooted in but is not a strictly traditional variety of the klezmer genre. Rather it is a comfortable hybrid that appeals equally to those with no previous exposure to the music and those already familiar with it.
